Engineering Admission Procedure

Admission to the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) course is as per AICTE/DTE/University of Pune and Govt. of Maharashtra’s norms, rules & regulation.The information can be obtained from website: https://dsd23.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/dsd23/

1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
  1. The Candidate should be an Indian National.
  2. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics ascompulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology orBiology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or InformationTechnology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics orBusiness Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45%marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, EconomicallyWeaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT- CET 2021 andshould obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2021.
  3. Passed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward classcategories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
2) All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmirand Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.
  1. The Candidate should be an Indian National.
  2. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics ascompulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or InformationTechnology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics orBusiness Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45%marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, EconomicallyWeaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and shouldobtain non zero positive score in JEE Main (B.E/B.Tech) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2021 and should obtainnon zero score in MHT-CET 2021.However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positivescore in JEE Main (B.E/B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non zeroscore in MHT-CET 2021.
  3. Passed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology andobtained at least 45%marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, economicallyWeaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates Maharashtra State only).
3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National
  1. The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination withPhysics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of theChemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject orComputer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices orAgriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics orEntrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.
  2. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
1) For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate
  1. The Candidate should be an Indian National.
  2. Passed minimum three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of Candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
  3. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45%marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector ( refer Schedule II).
  4. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority asdefined under the Act.
